Il disegno di oggi è un paesaggio, una veduta di un ipotetico canyon.
Ho utilizzato un software 3d diverso da quello che uso solitamente per renderizzare personaggi e oggetti. Si tratta di un software realtime rendering utilizzato principalmente per i rendering di architettura ma che consente anche dei bellissimi rendering di paesaggi.
Il software è Lumion 3d, io lo uso per renderizzare gli interni delle abitazioni, è davvero favoloso, soprattutto per le animazioni.
In questa illustrazione, ho scelto tonalità calde, il cielo è nuvoloso e siamo verso l'ora del tramonto. La scena è abbastanza surreale, probabilmente in un canyon non ci sono tutte quelle piante ma ho deciso di metterle perchè mi piacevano nell'insieme della composizione.
In ultimo ho aggiunto due cavalli che pascolano serenamente all'ombra di un grande masso.
In post produzione ho diminuito il contrasto per dare una visione più sbiadita che simulasse l'aria calda che sale dal terreno. Ho ammorbidito la saturazione dei colori, soprattutto l'arancione e ho dato più contrasto alle nuvole.
Nel complesso l'immagine mi piace molto, mi da serenità.

Today's drawing is a landscape, a view of a hypothetical canyon.
I used a 3d software different from the one I usually use to render characters and objects. It's a realtime rendering software used mainly for architecture renderings but it also allows beautiful landscape renderings.
The software is Lumion 3d, I use it to render home interiors, it's really fabulous, especially for animations.
In this illustration, I chose warm tones, the sky is cloudy and we are around sunset time. The scene is quite surreal, probably in a canyon there are not all those plants but I decided to put them because I liked them in the overall composition.
Finally, I added two horses grazing peacefully in the shadow of a large boulder.
In post production I lowered the contrast to give a more blurred view that simulated the warm air rising from the ground. I softened the saturation of the colors, especially the orange and gave more contrast to the clouds.
Overall I really like the image, it gives me serenity.
