Hello everyone! In this new episode of "Discovery Italy with alequandro!" I take you along the banks of the Piave river, one of the most important rivers in northern Italy.

Ciao a tutti! In questo nuovo episodio di " Discovery Italy with alequandro!" vi porto lungo le rive del fiume Piave, uno dei fiumi più importanti nord Italia.
The path that I decided to take runs alongside the river but it is far from the watercourse when it is enough to give the idea of being elsewhere, because in the first part you don't see the river and you don't hear the sound of the water.

Il percorso che ho deciso di fare costeggia il fiume ma è distante dal corso d'acqua quando basta per dare l'idea di essere altrove, perchè nel primo tratto non si vede il fiume e non si sente il rumore dell'acqua.
A few puddles along the path acted as a mirror where the leafless trees were reflected.

Qualche pozzanghera lungo il sentiero faceva da specchio dove si riflettevano gli alberi senza foglie.
It was a dry, somewhat arid environment, strange considering that a few meters away there is a river!

Era un ambiente secco un po' arido, strano pensando che a pochi metri c'è un fiume!
A few hundred meters away, an imposing cement factory dominates the natural landscape.

A qualche centinaio di metri un imponente cementificio si impone sul paesaggio naturale.
A slight haze and the absence of people in that somewhat melancholy environment made the atmosphere mysterious.

Una leggera foschia e l'assenzxa di persone in quell'ambiente un po' malinconico rendevano l'atmosfera misteriosa.
The sun showed up and nature was colored in warmer shades.

Il sole si è fatto vivo e la natura si è colorata di tonalità più calde.
We were approaching the river, under sand shoes and little more in the evident signs of an improvised motocross circuit.

Ci stavamo avvicinando al fiume, sotto i le scarpe sabbia e poco più in gli evidenti segni di un circuito di moto da cross improvvisato.
Before us an expanse of stones.

Diananzi a noi una distesa di sassi.
Then suddenly a thread of transparent water, almost stopped.

Poi ad un tratto un filo d'acqua trasparente, quasi ferma.
In contrast to the white stones, smooth, rounded with the bottom of the river, with algae and dark sand.

In contrasto dei sassi bianchi, levigati, tondeggianti con il fondale del fiume, con le alghe e la sabbia scura.
Then I had fun photographing those stones so different from each other...

Poi mi sono diverti to a fotografare quei sassi così diversi tra loro...
They look like totally different micro worlds.

Sembrano micro mondi totalmente diversi tra loro.
This stone looks like a mountain crossed by a river of sand.

Questa pietra sembra una montagna attaversata da un fiume di sabbia.

The elegance of simple parallel lines on a delicate shade.

Like a cliff in the sea.

Signs left by the tide, never stopped.

Segni lasciati dalla marea, mai ferma.
Which planet does it come from?

I would have stayed there for hours but we decided to continue.
ITA
Sarei rimasto lì ore ma abbiamo deciso di proseguire.
We chose a narrow path that led us back to a more internal area, among the shrubs.
ITA
Abbiamo scelto uno stretto sentiero che ci ha portati di nuovo in una zona più interna, tra gli arbusti.
The sun was always there, our only point of reference for orientation.
ITA
Il sole era sempre lì, nostro unico punto di riferimento per orientarci.
We had almost arrived at the car...just a break in a place we know well, where a small inlet has been created, similar to a small natural beach.

Eravamo quasi arrivati alla macchina...giusto una pausa in un posto che conosciamo bene, dove si è creata una piccola insenatura, simile ad una piccola spiaggia naturale.
At this point, the most fearless, who are not afraid of cold water, dive to take a bath.
ITA
In questo punto i più impavidi, che non hanno paura dell'acqua fredda si immergono per fare il bagno.
It's winter and the only idea I had in mind at the time was to drink a nice cup of hot tea! :)

Mi è inverno e l'unica idea che avevo in mente in quel momento era bermi una bela tazza di te bollente! :)
It was a simple 2 hour walk, but it was very relaxing and pleasant.
