Other Niche Communities Curation Report #220

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 220th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

See food platter veganized - Hive top chef

My partner and I had stopped eating meat for years already but couldn't give up the seafood. I had a special fondness for shrimp then discovered calamari. A special memory of shrimp was when I discovered coconut shrimp in a resto bar when I was younger. It was Toronto. A place called the Whistling Oyster. My friend and I took a trip there from our home town an hour away. We ordered appetizers and coconut shrimp was one of them. I loved every moment of it. since then I've only had it when I've made it.

THE WORLD IN MONOCHROME - Entry for the #monomad challenge

High up in the Western Alps in the canton ''Valais'' in Switzerland at an altitude of around 2, 469 meters is the Great St. Bernard pass. This mountain route/ pass connects Italy and Switzerland. Back in the days, the pass was known for it's many dangers where pilgrims were at risk of being attacked by wandering bandits. There was yet one particular man who decided to take the matter in his hands. His name was ''Bernard de Menthon'', known as the Archdeacon of Aosta. Bernard de Menthon for that reason took on a mission to create a safer pass for travelers and established The Great Saint Bernard Hospice which was governed under the Bishop of Sion. The Hospice became also a place of worship where a church has been present dating back to the year 1125.

Natural perspective (Photographs) [ENG/ESP]

From a photographic point of view, nature is important for humans, because they can perceive a whole range of species and natural colour tones. Like painting, our nature is a perfect model for photography or painting. We seek to understand and understand its unique forms on our planet Earth, which has a great variety of species that adorn our spaces, right up to the corners of our cities, which still preserve the harmony between nature and the artificial spaces of all the metropolises of the world.

[ENG-ESP] -La magia del áloe en nuestra cabellera The magic of áloe in our hair

We women love to look good, that's why we take time to take care of our bodies, uhum! Our hair is one of our greatest charms; I bet many of you have tried to find the ideal product for your hair, but what? No problem! They do not see that change that they have been waiting for so long after having placed a certain product, which has promised them a silky and manageable appearance; Yes, I understand the disappointment, I lived it too. I have a natural product for you that, in addition to leaving our hair silky, shiny and manageable, it leaves it completely hydrated; and it is nothing more and nothing less than ÁLOE in other places also called aloe plant; Here on the island it is rare that a house does not have it, that is, this magical little plant is everywhere, even in the field they grow sporadically in piles, so there is no excuse not to try. This is the procedure for all HIVE girls. And why not? It would also be nice if the boys cleaned their hair a bit.

In my Treehouse

Have you seen the popular traditional house named "Bahay Kubo" in our country, the Philippines? Where it was made from a nipa hut and bamboo tree? Well, if you haven't seen one and if you're curious. My treehouse copied "Bahay Kubo" but the only difference is the location. Of course, it's on the tree since I called it treehouse, lol.
