A man named Kulkh fell in love with the girl Oluen, the daughter of the leader of the giants. Kulkh had honest intentions and wanted to marry Oluen, but unexpectedly the problem arose. The fact is that it was predicted that the leader of the giants Isbaddaden would die at the wedding of his own daughter. To this, Isbaddaden entrusted each of his daughter's fiancés with 39 impossible tasks. It is understandable that no one else saw these fiancés alive.
Kulkh accepted the terms of Isbaddaden. He also called for the help of his cousin, King Arthur. They were predicted that they needed help from Mabon to win. This means that the struggle for the bride had to start with finding Mabon.
Kulkh turned to the oldest animals for help - Blackbird, Deer, Owl and Eagle. But none of them could tell where Mabon was hidden.
Then the Eagle advised to ask the wise Salmon. Salmon said that there is a place where he always hears crying. The salmon allowed Kulkh and King Arthur to sit on his back and take them to the wall of Kaer Loy, where he heard a cry. There they found Mabon.
Mabon really helped Kulkh, who was able to marry the beautiful Oluen.
Mabon is the second harvest festival. The main harvesting work has already been completed. In the fields there were only plants that are not afraid of frost. Their turn will come to the end of October. Now it's time for fairs. This is also a good period for gifts to each other.
