Yo Hivers!
What a week it's been. We have just arrived in Werne an der Lippe in Germany after an absolute killer week! It all began last weekend in Budapest when we performed as a part of the Szent Istvan Nap (Utcazene) festival. 7 stages built in the "Liberty Square" in central Budapest featuring artists from all over Europe coming together to celebrate the essential Birthday of Hungary. There were excellent food trucks and dancing people!
We performed in different locations over the course of 3 days and had an absolutely electric crowd. Hungarians have a special affinity for violin, so our music always goes down extremely well when we play in Magyay. Last weekend was no different and in many ways was a true breath of fresh air. It had been some years since our last performance in Budapest so it was refreshing to reconnect with a city where we have quite some history!
This weekend we are performing in Werne an der Lippe in Germany in the Freilichtbuehne. As long as the weather holds it should be a heck of a weekend!
