The city is located in the center of the Bekaa Valley in the Baalbek district. بَعْلَبَك

مدينةٌ لبنانيَّةٌ تقع في وسط سهل البقاع ضمن قضاء بعلبك، ويشتهر هذا السَّهل بوفرة محاصيله الزِّراعيَّة؛ وذلك بسبب غزارة مياه نهر الليطاني التي يعتمد السَّهل عليها في ريِّ أراضيه، ولأنَّ مدينة بعلبك كان لها موقعٌ متميزٌ على الخطوط البريَّة اشتهرت كثيراً عبر العصور، حيث قام الرومانيون ببناء المعابد الضَّخمة فيها. في وقتنا الحاضر أصبحت مدينة بعلبك مستقطبةً للسُّيَّاح والفنانين العرب والأجانب من خلال المهرجانات العالميَّة التي تقام فيها.
