Untitled

Tonight I sleep.
Tonight I dream.
Much given.
Much unseen.
Today I live.
Today I die.
Passing of time.
And life of thine.
Together they fade.
Shadows of yesterday.
Rising tide, setting sun.
On this day the day is won.
On a field of dreams in which you wake.
Giving a moment's glimpse upon the shore.
A waking moment draws 'pon you once again.
This becomes the sea in which you swim.
You are the rare and magic beast that lives.
That smiles on the life the sea gives.
"What's a dream?", you may say.
I'll say plenty of sleepy insights.
Now to rest.
And be on way.
