"Flaunter Jane" - A Limerick

"But if I really say it, the radio won't play it unless I lay it between the lines."
- Peter, Paul, and Mary

We're all adults here, right?

I don't usually set out to offend people. I'm not quite sure what the precise threshold of "NSFW" is here on Steemit. However, I would categorize this limerick as "bawdy," so please be forewarned. 😉

It's a good thing that @writing-trail's limerick contest already has a few "risqué" entries.

Some folk (my wife in particular) consider me to be O.C.D., and at times like these I'm inclined to agree with her. For the last several days I've been going on beyond the basics of this contest and penning some "over the top" entries.

That the first line of every limerick entry must end with the word "NED" is a given, but I've added a couple of personal constraints. Today's entry has, as Dr. Seuss might say, gone "On Beyond Zebra."

I have again ended, not just the first, but every line with "NED."
I can scarcely believe how many "NED"s I put everywhere else, just for the fun of it.
Result? Unbelievably unlikely as it seems, I've used even more NEDs today than yesterday!
Go ahead, count 'em! I dare you!

Fasten your seatbelt and cover your eyes; here's "Flaunter Jane."

Without further ado,

this is my third entry in the @writing-trail "WRITE A LIMERICK" contest:

"Flaunter Jane"

Unbuttoned, Jane reclined and fanned.
Stunned and weakened, Ned—resigned, unmanned,
ruined, impassioned, and quickened—
lengthened, stiffened, and thickened... —
I'll stop there, or be sanctioned and banned!

I hope that's enough "NED"s for you? I doubt I'll ever do more. Have you counted the NEDs?

As always, I look forward to your comments below... 😉

IMPORTANT NOTE: In the new HF18 Steemit economy with a longer-period reward pool, I really need you, my faithful readers and followers to "go back" and see what you may have missed. YOUR "LATE" UPVOTES NOW COUNT!

Thanks for your time and attention.
You are why I'm here on Steemit!
I have very eclectic interests and hope, over time, to write about them all.
