It has been a crazy week preparing for my first international vacation in years. You will not get your typical Zeke post layout over the next couple weeks but I will be dialing up the exotic adventure if I can get internet in my secret location. Stay tuned!

Bid-nezz

Running @town-crier http://towncriermarketing.ca with my partners including @sequentialvibe, you know there is a lot of prep involved in taking your hands off the wheel for a vacation. Interesting time for us as we have a few businesses launching, and others ramping up their promotion heading out of the summer into the winter season. Here we have a little behind the scenes view of the photo shoot for https://goodefrydays.com Having good pictures for your online ordering menu, social media promotion and library is essential for proper digital commerce. They launch tomorrow and we are excited for these energetic entrepreneurs.

Food and More Work!

The low lighting in this fancy venue makes this picture of a wonderful Reuben not do it justice! Still slinging drinks behind the bar in the fanciest restaurant in town https://revival.house Definitely a great place to spend time, a good friend to help with business, and the fringe benefits of a gourmet meal after your shift sure makes it special.

Symphonic High Society

This one is mixing a little business with pleasure actually as we have been working with the https://www.stratfordsymphony.ca/ Promoting the first live concert with an audience in recent memory was definitely a challenge but we did it. The musical event itself was kind of an afterthought for us as we were focussed on promoting effectively and selling hundreds of tickets in a short period of time. It was a nice surprise to learn we had tickets set aside for us and I brought my little highschool band member to witness the spectacle.

Golf...STILL!

We have closed the door on summer in these northern parts and enjoying the moderate autumn in preparation for what becomes a long winter. We had a chance to get in a round of golf to defiantly celebrate the summer that was and it was potentially the last round of the year. Knowing our passion to knock off during the week for some golf, and the fact that we have 2 golf courses as clients, there is an outside chance we will be able to take advantage of a day or 2 of indian summer or a mild snap in the next couple months. Otherwise, a perfect day with Simpsons clouds and green and fresh air in September is a gift!

BEER!

You just know The Blockchain Beerologist is gonna showcase a beer to tease the next #beersaturday post. Here is the last one for your viewing pleasure @zekepickleman/beer-saturday-222-plums-kindness-and-the-things-we-don-t-say . This one is a big bold double IPA from one of my favourite breweries I have had before. They have gone through a little rebranding for their regular beers and I have a couple of them to share this #beersaturday. Spoiler: it was delicious!

Inclusion

the big local news this week was the decoration of the cross walks in the center of town. In the spirit of inclusion and support for LGBTQ and the rest of the letters of the alphabet of unique lifestyles and people, the crosswalks became rainbow in colour. It does add a splash of hue to a vibrant town slipping into grey autumn. The biggest deal is the public display of support for everyone, regardless of their sexual preference and identification. A small step on the path but a public one bound to shift us towards conversation and celebration of our differences.

Martial Arts

This picture is actually shot by a training partner at one of our training sessions this week. You may get an extra dose of jiu jitsu this week as the vacation on tap is called Grapplers Escape and is a collection of BJJ practitioners assembling to train together for a week in an exotic location.

Sporting a brand new brown belt and a nice shiner, I am so excited to jet set and hopefully share my adventure with you this week!
