Recently I've been thinking quite a lot about my progeny; the greats, great greats and so on, descending directly from my line, those beings that have yet to Be and I will likely never meet. I wonder about what the world will look like when they arrive? And I wonder- what will they know of me, what mark will I have left, will I have a lasting impact?
The generations alive today are leaving easily accessible legacies behind every single day on a variety of social media platforms. I for one would have poured over my ancestors Hive Blogs, Facebook pages, Twitter profiles etc, loving the glimpses into their lives, finding out exactly where they stood and what they stood for.
Getting to know them through first hand accounts would be priceless.
For those who have known me since steemit '16, this should be a fun post, of people in the dreemit clan you've definitely seen along the way. But also it will serve as another piece of the trail for those precious future beings- that I love despite never meeting.
We're a loyal bunch, friends and family alike, even in these crazy divided days. As a close friend recently said - not necessarily like-minded, but definitely love-minded. Ah. Yeah.
As the title stated, this was a big year for my clan with my baby boy turning 18, my beautiful girl 21; and my soulmate 50...on 9/11. That's right, 9/11 is the 20th anniversary... of my hubs 30th birthday ð
Death has been given far too much attention this past year and a half, I would much rather celebrate life instead. And these momentous dates gave me the perfect excuse :0)
So here's a peek inside my world via Saturdays camera roll, enjoy!
