Pokemon Still In Big Demand

Not that long ago Pokemon had launched their limited edition Oreos and they were selling soon on eBay for thousands of dollars. There is still a huge appetite for all things Pokemon as people around the world still love to buy a variety of products related to this brand, everything from cards and cookies to games and more.

Some Pokemon cards have sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

But those that do fetch a high price have to be in mint condition, it isn't the sort of quality for a card that you might stumble across in the attic. Complete sets that are also in mint condition have gone for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Last year they saw record breaking sales, a franchise that is still going strong over 20+ years later.

Why are people still so interested in Pokemon? Nostalgia associated with the franchise is said to have a lot to do with it. It seems that demand just keeps going up with prices breaking records in recent years for sets and individual cards being sold. Some stores have had to halt selling the cards because of confrontations that can go along with it.

As far as demand for Pokemon products it seems there is a heavy appetite for all things related to this franchise, including cards, games, food, and more. Thanks to more free time people had at home during the pandemic (giving them time to buy and trade), the demand nostalgia, and the extra stimulus money some had, this all contributed to this market growing significantly last year.
