When engaged in Web Design, people often need long banners that can scale to a device. So, when I saw that the prompt for today was "Sour" I thought I would create a long banner with a row of lemons that featured the word sour.
I spent my free time in the morning creating the banner above with SVG. I had to convert to PNG for display on HIVE. Here is the SVG version . NOTE the SVG uses a strange font called Navilu which is on my Ubuntu machine. So the SVG probably does not show up well.
I wanted to draw a line of lemons on a piece of green paper. But I had the idea that I could do a quick zen tangle drawing in sections of a lemon as viewed in the picture at the bottom of the page. The second image was a complete fail.
Updating the InkTober Statistics.
I am manually following the #Inktober curation. PeakD.com shows that the rewards are over $2,200 for 151 entries on HIVE. Here are my full stats. SteemIt has delivered almost $21. I was hoping that #creativecoin curation would be a little bit higher. The system has given only ten bucks in CCC rewards.

Since I am manually entering the data, it is incomplete. Some of the artwork received upvotes after I created the tally. It is 1:00 AM and i really don't want to stay up all night on this project.
In the picture below I thought I would put zen tangles in the outline of a lemon. The picture might look okay if I was consistent in how I drew the tangle. But I drew a different tangle in each section. If I did all the sections the same way and had fewer sections, it might look okay.
I wasted several hours on the failed image above. But the image is drawn in ink which is what inktober requires.
