BREXIT: A Turtle’s and People’s Vote

Despite we all are exposed to the fascinating levels of distortion, hypocrisy and lies that politicians can deliver, I still am amazed by the sheer ruthlessness of bureaucratic class…

Of course, British political class isn’t an exception. Just look at Yemen war history. But one EU official, and nazi descendant, has managed to outdone all other Brussels bureaucrats together:

So, European Council President Donald Tusk, a man who is reserving a ‘special place in hell for Brexiteers’, called on a petition to British Government to revoke Article 50 — a petition put up on the Internet over a month ago by a certain remainer Margaret Georgiadou.

In the petition, there is a demand for a “People’s vote”:

The government repeatedly claims exiting the EU is 'the will of the people'. We need to put a stop to this claim by proving the strength of public support now, for remaining in the EU. A People's Vote may not happen -- so vote now.

Well, who did vote for Brexit in 2016? Turtles?

Despite any logic, she did collected almost 6 million signatures, which prompted Tusk to boldly say in a speech at the European Parliament in Strasbourg today, that those voices ‘cannot be betrayed’ and that ‘such thinking is unacceptable.’

Really? But it is acceptable to betray 17.4 MILLION voters who showed up in ONE referendum day in 2016? How’s that for an EU hypocrisy championship title? Or he did it deliberately, because he wanted no-deal Brexit? Because after this, no right-minded British citizen (or any other EU citizen at that) would ask for more EU again.
