Today we have harvested the last pear harvest this year.
It's a pity, but there will be no more fruit this year. Plums ran out 2 months ago, apples a month ago, and now it’s the turn of pears.
This season I managed to dry 4 bags of apples, which is a good result, given that I now have only 1 apple tree.
The pear tree is also one, but the pears themselves also are smaller, so there will be fewer pears.
Also dried pears are much sweeter than apples and children eat them faster, so there won't be enough pears for winter.
But I'm not upset, I like plums more 😀
