Let's start the chapter of my book with my name, I am Charisse and many have called me Cha-cha for short. My mother gave me this name in the belief that I would become just like her schoolmate who used to be the most beautiful on the campus and the brightest she had ever met in her life-- she is FASCINATING as she said. Yes, you're thinking it wrong but I am still trying to live my life as expected. Haha
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a Province full of Mang Talisay Trees in the Southern part of Cebu wherein we showcase the beautiful mountains and beaches a relaxing spot away from the City. I can say, I have the coolest and funniest family in the whole world.
We support each other and we would do anything for one another. We are not rich, but I am so proud to say that my parents are the most hardworking people I know and I'm really inspired to do the same but it's hard. When we love each other we offer unlimited sacrifices that a lot of times they forgot about themselves so much. They work a lot with our small businesses and also working full time but despite all of this, we have a Sunday Family Tradition. We laugh, we eat our favorites, and spend time with our Almighty God. My parents are my power without them I am nothing and with them, I am so much something.
When I was a kid, I am not really good at anything; I danced but I am the worst, I did sports too but I moved too slow. When I graduated High School I have no idea what would I become to make sense in this world. But one thing I do know is that I don't want my parents to spend a lot of money on my University. I am the eldest and have three siblings. My other sister will also go to college next year and I do find myself in the well-known University for Teachers. Yes, you've read it right, I become a teacher, to be honest, it really didn't sink in at first because Education is really important for me that I would take and study any courses I could. Everything is planned, I studied hard and at some point in my life one certain event cleared my vision and I wanted to be a Teacher, a somebody to my students who will guide them and will always see the good things in them even how bad the situation is, a sacrificial lamp like a Sheperd to its lambs
Let's go to details with my CRAVINGS IN LIFE, I and my friend @jongcl chose my username here in the hive. Simply because I am crazy with Universal thoughts of wants, I always crave perfection, goals, responsibility, or in other words, I never settle for less. Why stop? As Educator, we believe in an approach that LEARN, UNLEARN, and RELEARN. I am a teacher for 4 years now, I started my career right after graduation in an ESL Company right after that I seek for personal growth with my purpose and worked in a University here in Cebu. Pandemic, made me see a lot of perspectives in life, I used to be traditional about work areas and would always believe in other people saying what you graduated for is what we should practice and do as a living for. Don't worry and wait for my content about Traditional Views in life: stereotype and we will talk more about this.
ABOUT MY WORK and BUSINESS
As of the moment I enjoy a freelancing schedule as an ESL Instructor (one: a company based and two: direct teacher for Korean tutors) and a Businesswoman.
I started writing a Blog for our Business last week, I miss writing to be honest and my inner soul awakens with the thought of needs. I will talk about the Business in my next content chapters.
Our Investments
To be honest, Hive is not the first Crypto Activity I've or we've done with my Boyfriend (my future Husband and you will know him more with my chapters). We've invested more in a Play to Earn or also known as Axie Infinity. The concept of Cryptocurrency is really blurry before and the idea now is challenging. I believe this will be the new normal in earning and growing the businesses in the future.
SOMETHING I DID FOR OTHERS-- MY HIGHLIGHTS
I believe I am not the best person I could be yet, and still figuring out what legacy I'd like people to know me. But one is for sure, I really wanted to make the people around me very happy--esp. MY FAMILY. I am happy and proud to say, I would give fifty percent of my salary in my work for the family. It maybe is little but it helped my siblings with their tuitions, projects, and some needs in the house.
ALL ABOUT HIVE
It's been a long time since I and @jongcl talked and this time we did it virtually. My heart is full and I really enjoy talking with my friends and catching up with new things about them like their updates. We talked about Cryptoblogging and I love the idea of writing, posting some pictures of my newly traveled places, the food we ate, and the scenery, how cool and refreshing it could be. My close friend @jongcl and her sister Rica @sassycebuana explained the details further and they helped me understand how this Community works. I am beyond grateful for the chance to talk about things I wanted other people to read. So in my chapters, I will be writing a lot about my hidden thoughts, cravings for an explanation, and my day-to-day travel to new places.
EXPECTATION VS. REALITY
Another friend of ours @hannahs.journey and I were invited by @jongcl. I can say our friendship is something in this world of need. We met each other and bonded this relationship in our workplace- the University. Even though, we are in different worlds now, kidding aside. We always find time to see and have a conversation. With the help of this Hive, I strongly believe we are going to spend a lot of time creating interesting chapters in the future with our likes, so keep posted.
In my chapters, I will be writing varied topics as I am really interested and keen on a lot of things. I am hoping in reality that I will be giving fruitful experiences as you will be reading the chapters of my life.
