Greetings from Russia, my friends and all other good hiveans who are reading the post. This is my 1st post to this community. (I always think about it, and always procrastinate for so long!) ...and I also wanted to combine it with #WednesdayWalk challenge by @tattoodjay - I think this time it just matched perfectly.

Today the schools of my city opened their doors again - summer vacations are over, and the children return to their schools again. Some of them are at their last year and will graduate this year, while others, on the contrary, go to school for the first time and tear themselves away with tears from their mother's skirt. This is a very special day when tears are mixed with joy and a great spiritual uplift, everyone is very nervous, including the parents. My daughter outwitted everyone - three days ago she found an infection somewhere, got sick, and lies at home under a blanket, enjoying home comfort, films, sweets ... but she's deprived of this festival -- and so did we, her parents.
Cегодня 1-е сентября, не только день всеобщего паверапа, но еще и День знаний! Кончились летние каникулы, и дети снова идут в школу. Некоторые учатся последний год и дальше пойдут работать, а некоторые наоборот впервые со слезами отрываются от маминой юбки и идут в школу в первый раз. Это очень особенный день, когда слезы смешаны с радостью, все находятся очень на нервах, включая и родителей. Чтобы смягчить резкий переход от каникул к учебе, и особенно для новичков, в первый день настоящей учебы и уроков нет. Вместо этого, что во всех школах моего города проводится весёлый праздник. А моя детка заболела и сидит дома.
The holiday have arrived to us! So, I came to my office today... But the local municipal administration, honoring the September 1, organized a festival for elementary school students. Thus my intention about today's photo walk came self fulfilling (and it was completely different from what I could have imagined!). Happily, I borrowed today an arsenal of three lens: 150mm telephoto, 16-35mm wide-angle and 16mm fisheye. And, know what? I used all of them!
Праздник к нам приходит. В честь 1 сентября Петровский муниципальный округ устроил для учеников начальной школы увеселительный праздник фестиваль, и моё намерение насчет фотопрогулки исполнилось само собой, причем совершенно не так, как я мог предполагать. Как хорошо, что у меня был собой именно такой сет-ап объективов: телевик, широкоугольник и рыбий глаз. Я воспользовался всеми тремя!
The show lasted 4 hours and a half. Clowns, jugglers, animators performed on the stage, there were songs and dances, contests, the usual standard set. There were even soap bubbles! and a lot of helium balloons (two of them I took home after closing for my daughter).
Шоу продолжалось 4 часа с хвостиком. На сцене выступили клоуны, жонглеры, аниматоры, были песни и танцы, конкурсы, обычный набор. Были даже мыльные пузыри! и много гелиевых шариков (два из них после закрытия я унес домой для дочки).
The weather was changing all the time. First there was the sun, then a little mushroom rain, and then rain and hail. Then again the sun, and again the rain ... A lot has happened during these few hours. The children were hiding on the stage, under the umbrellas of their parents, under the awning of two tents, I myself was hiding under the children's slide, never ceasing to take pictures. In the pavilion tents (to which there were immeasurable lines) there was suggested such fun as body art on the face (for free) and cotton candys (for a fee).
Погода все время менялась. Сначала было солнце, потом небольшой грибной дождик, а потом ливень и град. Потом снова солнце, и снова дождь... Много всего случилось за эти несколько часов. Дети прятались на эстраде, под зонтиками родителей, под тентом двух палаток, сам я прятался под детской горкой, не переставая фотографировать. В палатках-павильончиках (к которым стояли немеряные очереди) были такие забавы, как бесплатный боди-арт на лицо и сахарная вата (за денежку).
The art-residence where children's face makeup was coming from. This artist made a few hundred of kids more happy today.
Детский грим на лицо создавался как раз под этим тентом. Пара сотен детишек стали немного счастливее благодаря этому мастеру.
Cotton candy was the absolute favorite of all! Children love most the process of consuming this delicacy, than the candy itself!
Сахарная вата - это был безусловный всеобщий фаворит! Дети обожают процесс потребления этого лакомства.
In another tent there was a table where you could sit and draw pictures, this tent was not in great demand, which is understandable - what is so special about it, you can draw at home too!
В другой палатке был стол, где можно было посидеть и рисовать картинки, эта палатка большим спросом не пользовалась, что понятно - ну что тут особенного, порисовать можно и дома!
In general, despite the hail, the festival was a success, the children frowned, some cried, but the queues to the tents did not disappear and I did not notice that the people were leaving for their homes. In this frame: kids hiding from rain at the stage.
В общем, несмотря даже на град, праздник удался, дети хмурились, некоторые плакали, но очереди к палаткам не исчезли и я не заметил, чтобы народ уходил по домам.
There was also a talking smart dog with glasses, with whom all the children wanted to take pictures.
Еще был говорящий умный пес в очках, с которым хотели сфотографироваться все дети.
I even met a real camel there! (I think it was not a wild camel, but specially trained to pose and take joint staged pictures for money. Just business!)
Я даже встретил там живого верблюда!!! (Я думаю, это был не дикий, а специально обученный для позирования и совместных фоток. Просто бизнес!)
Children had fun watching the performances, enjoying balloons, soap bubbles, aqua-makeup etc - and I had my fun, looking through the camera pathfinder at them having fun.
Дети веселились наблюдая представление. А я веселился, разглядывая их веселье через видоискатель камеры.
There were clouds of soap bubbles that the children were racing for. Kidz rivalry for the soap bubbles is pure delight :P
Были целые тучи мыльных пузырей, которые дети ловили соревнуясь, наперегонки...
This was captured without any drone - I just climbed up the playground's slide! (Below you can see the said slide).
Снято безо всякого дрона -- просто я забрался на детскую горку! (На фото ниже - эта самая горка и есть)
It was a good day! and it ended on a high spiritual level: on my return back home, we started a family watching of "Back to Future. Part 3" movie, as it was planned earlier. Wow! / Хороший был день! и надеюсь, его окончание пройдет также на высоком духовном уровне: у нас запланирован совместный просмотр третьей части "Назад в будущее". Ваууу!
