Making cookies!!!!
Yesterday we made some cookies because i found lots of fun cookies cutters at the op shop. Miss 5 and mister 2 both helped to make the dough. Then they rolled it and used their favourite cutter!!!The air plane and the star got successful.
Once the cookies were cooked and cooled we did the icing. I have to admit it gave me a bit of anxiety to let mister 2 do the icing. Next time i will try to be a bit better organised and have everything ready when they join because it was a bit tricky to put all the colours icing into piping bag while they were already starting to decorate their cookies. Next batch i think will be for Halloween 😁.
Faire des biscuits !!!!
Hier, nous avons fait des biscuits parce que j'ai trouvé beaucoup d'emporte-pièces amusants à l'op shop. Miss 5 et monsieur 2 ont tous deux aidé à faire la pâte. Puis ils l'ont roulé et ont utilisé leur cutter préféré !!! L'avion et l'étoile ont eu du succès.
Une fois les cookies cuits et refroidis, nous avons fait le glaçage. Je dois admettre que cela m'a donné un peu d'anxiété de laisser monsieur 2 faire le glaçage. La prochaine fois, j'essaierai d'être un peu mieux organisé et d'avoir tout prêt quand ils se joindront car c'était un peu difficile de mettre toutes les couleurs de glaçage dans une poche à douille alors qu'ils commençaient déjà à décorer leurs biscuits. Le prochain lot je pense sera pour Halloween 😁.
