A new day, one more chance to get to know a piece of my day to day life. This time, I will introduce and tell you a little bit about some special kittens, because of Stories Of Our Little Angels contest.
Un día nuevo, una oportunidad más de conocer un trozo de mi día a día. Esta vez, les presentaré y contaré un poco de unos gatitos especiales, por el concurso Stories Of Our Little Angels.
The fourth birth of the cat, the one where Pelussa arrived. It's a story with a peculiar beginning, it was in 2019.
El cuarto parto de la gata, ese donde llegó Pelussa. Es una historia con un inicio peculiar, fue en el año 2019.
It seems completely crazy, but it's amazing how easily a bond is forged with a little ball of fur. From the moment Gata was pregnant, I often wondered: What will they be like? Will they meow a lot or, on the contrary, very little? What will their personalities be? Will they like sardines?
Parece una completa locura, pero es increíble como se forja con facilidad un lazo con una pequeña bolita de pelos. Desde aquel momento que Gata estaba embarazada, a menudo me preguntaba: ¿Cómo serán? ¿Maullarán mucho o por el contrario, muy poco? ¿Cuáles serán sus personalidades? ¿Les gustarán las sardinas?
Finally when Gata had her three kittens, just seeing them was a dream come true. Each one of the kittens that arrived after that birth, little by little, settled deep in my heart, won my admiration and transmitted me the peace, tranquility and tenderness that I needed.
Finalmente cuando Gata tuvo a sus tres gatitos, apenas verlos fue un sueño hecho realidad. Cada uno de los gatitos que llegaron tras aquel parto, se colocaron poco a poco hondo en mi corazón, se ganaron mi admiración y me transmitieron la paz, tranquilidad y ternura que necesitaba.
The three kittens from Gata's fourth birth were playful and tender. While they were babies, they were in a room, but when they started to walk calmly, we moved them to an available field we had, because there was land there, they could walk, eat, do their needs. They were still feeding on Gata, although they were already eating sardines, rice and pasta.
Los tres gatitos del cuarto parto de Gata eran juguetones y tiernos. Mientras fueron bebés, estuvieron en una habitación, pero cuando empezaron a caminar con tranquilidad, los trasladamos a un terreno disponible que teníamos, porque allí había tierra, ellos podrían caminar, comer, hacer sus necesidades. Ellos todavía seguían alimentándose de Gata, aunque ya comían sardinas, arroz y pasta.
When we moved the kittens to the field, a series of events happened: some nice and some unpleasant.
Cuando trasladamos a los gatitos al terreno, pasaron una serie de acontecimientos: unos bonitos y otros desagradables.
Among the nice events are that the kittens received a little brother, because at our door someone left a kitten, almost the same age as the ones we had.
Entre los sucesos bonitos están que los gatitos recibieron a un hermanito, pues en nuestra puerta dejaron a un gatito, casi de la misma edad que los que teníamos.
The kitten was mistreated, it looked like it had been dehydrated for a long time, malnourished, deprived of the love and care of a real family. As the kittens were still drinking Gata's milk, we tried to incorporate him with the others, but this one felt and looked isolated, had no enthusiasm, did not want to play, did not drink Gata's milk, although she accepted him as another kitten.
El gatito estaba maltratado, parecía que había tenido mucho tiempo deshidratado, desnutrido, privado del amor, el cuidado de una familia verdadera. Como los gatitos todavía tomaban leche de Gata, lo intentamos incorporar junto a los otros, pero este se sentía y se veía aislado, no tenía entusiasmo, no quería jugar, no tomaba leche de Gata, aunque ella lo aceptó como un gatito más.
Every day my love for these kittens grew. We tried to make the new kitten eat sardines, rice, pasta and feel like one more, like a beloved pet.
Cada día mi amor por esos gatitos crecía. Intentamos que el nuevo gatito comiera sardinas, arroz, pasta y se sintiera como uno más, como una mascota amada.
Unexpectedly something happened that broke the schemes and my heart. There is a very long tube on the property that leads to the street, so I thought he had gone that way. When we realized at home that the kitten had possibly slipped through there, we looked for it, but we didn't find it, nor were we successful. It also started to smell bad and the smell was coming out of the tube, but we thought at home that maybe it was a rat that had died in there. The best we could assume was that hopefully someone would catch it and take care of it, although we never heard from that kitten again.
Inesperadamente sucedió algo que rompió los esquemas y mi corazón. En el terreno hay un tubo muy largo que da acceso a la calle, por ende, pensé que se había ido por ahí. Cuando nos dimos cuenta en casa que el gatito posiblemente se había colado por ahí, lo buscamos, pero no dimos con este, ni tuvimos éxito. También empezó a oler feo y el olor salía del tubo, pero en casa pensábamos que a lo mejor era una rata que había muerto allí. Lo que mejor asumimos fue que ojalá alguien lo agarrara y lo cuidara, aunque no supimos más de ese gatito.
My love for my pets will always be unwavering, strong and loyal.
El amor por mis mascotas siempre será inquebrantable, fuerte y leal.
