PHILOSOPHING IN THE PARK [ENG/ESP] FILOSOFANDO EN EL PARQUE
Sometimes when I arrive at the park, many philosophical thoughts of existentialism come to my mind, such as Why are we here? Why do I accompany my human to the same place every morning? Why do I adore it so much? What is my purpose in life?; Many questions that I try to answer every day.
Aveces al llegar al parque, a mi mente llegan muchos pensamientos filosóficos de existencialismo, como por ejemplo ¿Por que estamos aquí? ¿Por que todas las mañanas acompaño a mi humano al mismo lugar? ¿Por que lo adoro tanto? ¿Cual es mi propósito en la vida?; Muchas interrogantes que a diario busco de responder.
I look towards the street and I only see more busy humans, lost in their daily routines, ignoring their life purpose, if they have any; I see them walking from one place to another letting time go by knowing that they will not be able to recover it.
Observo en dirección hacía la calle y solo veo mas humanos ajetreados, perdidos en sus rutinas diarias, ignorando su propósito de vida, si es que tienen alguno; los veo caminar de un lado a otro dejando el tiempo pasar sabiendo que no lo podrán recuperar.
Inside the park I see humans jogging, trying to exercise with the idea of extending their existence in this wonderful place we call home; although there are others who only come to meet other people to chat and spend a pleasant stay.
Dentro del parque veo a los humanos trotar, intentando ejercitarse con la idea de alargar su existencia en este maravilloso lugar que llamamos hogar; aunque hay otros que solo vienen a conocer a otras personas para conversar y una estancia agradable pasar.
I observed the ground and I noticed a great diversity of insects that are in the place, all with the same conviction: to exist, to reproduce and then to cease to exist; I see each one of those insects happy fulfilling that destiny. Could it be that this is also my vital purpose?
Observé el suelo y me percaté de una gran diversidad de insectos que hay en el lugar, todos con la misma convicción: existir, reproducirse para luego dejar de existir; a cada uno de esos insectos los veo felices cumpliendo ese destino, ¿Sera que ese también es mi propósito vital?.
I better see the birds floating in the sky, free, happy, well that's what it looks like from down here; I would like to accompany them in their adventures to know what it is like to fly, to travel from one place to another unconcerned with all that is rational.
Mejor veo en el cielo a las aves flotar, libres, felices, bueno eso es lo que parece desde aquí abajo; me gustaría acompañarlas en sus aventuras para saber como es volar, viajar de un lugar a otro despreocupado de todo lo racional.
At the end of the morning, after so much thinking, I remember that I am a dog and all I have to do is bark and play.
Al final de la mañana, después de tanto pensar, recuerdo que soy un perro y lo unico que tengo que hacer es ladrar y jugar.
