in the arms of my son Miguel and
his girlfriend Mary
You were a little speck of white hair and
sweet eyes
who suddenly found herself
surrounded by humans and hands
hands eager to caress you
I watched you grow up surrounded by love
And in return, you were an angel of love.
To all of us you gave what only you could give
Unconditional love
Protection and tenderness.
So many moments to remember.
At your side
my children grew up
and you with them.
You went from being a playful puppy
To a calm and loving adult
You enjoyed with the family
birthdays, Christmas,
The walks and fun.
You had a chance to be a mother
but unfortunately it was too late
And you lost your two puppies
And we were there with you
mourning your loss.
As the years went by, you got tired of living my dear angel.
You had already fulfilled your mission
We did everything we could
so that you would be at peace
in your last hours
I held you like when you were a puppy and hugged you with tears in my eyes
I wrapped you in a flannel
of the most special person to you
The next day
I carried your body to a beautiful place
Next to a flowering bush
in contact with the earth.
And I said goodbye.

en los brazos de mi hijo Miguel y
su novia Mary
Eras una motita de pelo blanco y
mirada dulce
que se encontró de repente
rodeada de humanos y de
manos ansiosas por acariciarte
Te vi crecer rodeada de cariño
Y en retribución fuiste un ángel de amor
A todos nos diste lo que sólo tu podías
Amor incondicional
Protección y ternura.
Tantos momentos por recordar.
A tu lado
mis hijos fueron creciendo
y tú con ellos.
Pásaste de ser cachorra juguetona
A adulta tranquila y cariñosa
Disfrutaste con la familia
los cumpleaños, la Navidad,
Los paseos y diversiones.
Tuviste una oportunidad de ser madre
pero lamentablemente fue muy tardía
Y perdiste a tus dos cachorritos
Y estuvimos allí acompañandote
llorando tu pérdida.
Con el paso de los años te cansaste de vivir mi querido ángel
Ya habías cumplido tu misión
Hicimos todo lo posible
porque estuvieras tranquila
en tus últimas horas
Te cargue como cuando eras una cachorrita y te abracé con lágrimas en los ojos
Y me despedí.
Te envolvi en una franela
de la persona más especial para ti.
Al día siguiente
Lleve tu cuerpo a un lugar hermoso
Al lado de un arbusto en flor
en contacto con la tierra.
