¡Saluden a Kofi!

Say hello to Kofi!

My kittens continue to grow and I am more and more in love with them, I am so happy to see them grow and be like a cat mom who takes care of them and make them live happily.

Their sleeping spirit is still alive, this is one of the few things that have not changed in them since they are little; it is very tender to see them sleeping together and many times in similar positions, it is as if they were synchronized when they sleep, HAHAHAHA.

Every pet has its particularities according to the environment they grew up in. I take care of my cats with the same love but obviously they have their own personalities, in today's post I will focus on Kofi, my precious kitty that I rescued almost a year ago, plus you will see a series of really adorable pictures.

Unsympathetic personality.

What's cute about him is hateful, he doesn't like to be given too much affection, carried for too long or sat next to because he almost immediately gets up to find a space all to himself. I think the only one of my siblings who likes his presence is my youngest brother, who is eight years old, because he even sleeps with him; I guess he has learned to tolerate being squashed when he sleeps, because my brother moves around a lot.

That he is unfriendly is clearly not something that matters to me and doesn't stop me from showering him with kisses every time I meet him in a hallway in the house.

Gluttonous cat.

Kofi likes to eat a lot, but what cat doesn't? The thing is that Kofi is always on the lookout for whatever my brothers or I put in our mouths to put on his best "Puss in Boots" face (the one where his pupils dilate a lot) to ask us for some of whatever we're eating.

He never comes to us when we call him... except when he knows we'll give him food, of course.

Kofi is a thieving cat!

Something that I find almost ironic and very funny is that, compared to my other cat, Duchess, who is smaller but is a skilled hunter (a few days ago she caught a rat almost as big as her, I couldn't believe it XD), Kofi has on several occasions stolen the bag of cat food that is in the kitchen storage room. The first time this happened it was a very small amount of food left in the bag, but if I hadn't left the evidence (the bag) behind the front door I wouldn't have even imagined he could do something like this.

The last time it happened, my little thief went for a bigger treasure: a bag of cat food of at least 300 grams. Kofi is not too big so it was hilarious to see him with the bag in his mouth as he ran with clumsy steps so we wouldn't catch him. He decided to hide under one of my brothers' beds, which had a bunch of stuff stored under it, so we had to move the whole bed to get him to let go of the bag.

I interrupted his sunbathing to take this cute picture of her.

He likes to groom himself.

I once read that when grooming, cats release a series of hormones that make them feel relaxed and confident, and I can confirm, Kofi really likes to clean himself; I once worried that he had some skin allergy that motivated him to lick himself so much, but after checking his fur I didn't notice anything strange, so I guess he just likes to be clean. The funny thing about this is the strange postures he takes to get to some spaces on his body like his belly or behind his tail, it's like he's doing yoga.

That's all for now, I hope you enjoyed the post. See you very soon with more of my pet experiences. Bye!

Kofi received his reward for being good during the photo shoots shown here.
