Gracias a mi hermana @suezoe pude costear el gasto de la castración para mi gatito, muchos no están de acuerdo con eso de castrarlos, pero de verdad necesitaba hacerlo ya que somos muy cuidadosos con él y le tenemos tanto cariño que no queríamos que se escapara por andar tras una gata. Además se orinaba mucho por cada rincón de la casa y el olor era muy fuerte.

En fin, decidí llevarlo a la veterinaria el día después de cumpleaños de mi hermana, así que apenas llegue a mi casa solté las maletas y me lleve a mi gatito. Fue bastante complicado llevarlo ya que no cuento con un trasportador para gatos y aquí el transporte público es extremadamente escaso (por la gasolina, etc… )Cuando por fin conseguí como ir al pueblo después de esperar casi una hora en la parada, me tocó caminar unas 8 cuadras para llegar al consultorio donde la doctora muy amablemente nos esperaba.

Fue una odisea llevarlo pero también fue esperar a que la anestesia hiciera efecto en Ying. Él está muy apegado a mi y me miraba con una carita que me daba sentimiento, así que lo tomé de la patita y comencé a hablarle y a acariciarlo hasta que por fin se durmió. Para serles sincera yo estaba mas nerviosa que Ying, no pude evitar llorar mientras se dormía y más cuando la doctora se lo llevó al quirófano. Me dijo que si quería podía ver pero no fui capaz de ver como le cortaban sus bolitas.

Esperé sólo 10 minutos y después ella lo dejó en una especie de transportador hasta que reaccionara mientras yo iba a la farmacia a preguntar por unos anfibióticos y resolver quien me llevaría de regreso a casa. Gracias a Dios me topé con un motorizado muy amable para que me llevara a la veterinaria al salir de la farmacia y de ahí llevarme a Ying cuando despertara de la anestesia.
I waited only 10 minutes and then she left him in a kind of transporter until he reacted while I went to the pharmacy to ask for some amphibiotics and decide who would take me back home. Thank God I ran into a very friendly motorist to take me to the vet when I left the pharmacy and from there to take me to Ying when he woke up from anesthesia.
Cuando llegue de regreso a la veterinaria Ying ya estaba despierto y se mostraba asustado y desorientado por la reacción de la anestesia, pero apenas me vio se quedó tranquilo. Después de esperar un rato me lo llevé a casa, improvisadamente usé mi bolso donde Ying se quedó quieto y el motorizado condujo lo más lento que pudo para que Ying no se estresara.
When I got back to the vet, Ying was already awake and looked scared and disoriented by the reaction of the anesthesia, but as soon as he saw me he was calm. After waiting a while I took it home, improvisedly used my bag where Ying stood still and the motorized man drove as slow as he could so that Ying wouldn't get stressed.
Al llegar a casa me dio cosita ver que se iba de los lados al no poder caminar bien y se la pasó durmiendo. Me preocupaba que aun no comía ni bebía nada, había estado en ayuna para la cirugía. Gracias a Dios en la noche cuando despertó le ayudamos a comer y beber agua, cuando probó el alimento se animó a comer y a tomar mucha agua. Estuve casi toda la noche despierta para ver que comiera bien. Fue un alivio verlo acostado a un lado mío y tranquilo como siempre, me causo mucha ternura que me despertara para que le hiciera cariños y si me quedaba dormida me volvía a despertar jaja debía esperar que el se durmiera para poder dormir. Sin duda mi gatito Ying es un amor y lo amo mucho. Todo salió bien y ahora puedo estar mas tranquila.
When I got home it was a little something to see that he was going from the sides because he could not walk well and he spent his time sleeping. I was worried that he still did not eat or drink anything, he had been fasting for the surgery. Thank God at night when he woke up we helped him eat and drink water, when he tasted the food he encouraged himself to eat and drink a lot of water. I was awake most of the night to see that he ate well. It was a relief to see him lying next to me and calm as always, it caused me a lot of tenderness that he woke me up to make him affectionate and if I fell asleep I would wake up again haha I had to wait for him to fall asleep to be able to sleep. Without a doubt my kitty Ying is a sweetheart and I love him very much. Everything went well and now I can be more calm.
