Hace un año un vecino nos comentó que había una perrita callejera que había dado a luz y nos pidió ayuda para conseguirle hogar a los cachorros pues su destino no sería muy alentador si los dejábamos en la calle. Logramos conseguirle hogar a tres de los cachorros y solo faltaba una, mi novio y yo decidimos adoptarla y le colocamos por nombre Juanita. La mamá de Juanita era de estatura mediana así que supusimos que ella también lo sería, lo cual fue perfecto para nosotros porque no teníamos mucho espacio, cuando la trajimos a casa era casi del tamaño de una pelota de tenis.
A year ago a neighbor told us that there was a stray dog that had given birth and asked us for help to find homes for the puppies because their fate would not be very encouraging if we left them on the street. We were able to find homes for three of the puppies and only one was missing, my boyfriend and I decided to adopt her and named her Juanita. Juanita's mom was medium height so we figured she would be too, which was perfect for us because we didn't have much room, when we brought her home she was about the size of a tennis ball.
Nos sentíamos como verdaderos padres con un nuevo bebé en casa pues durante las noches lloraba porque aún extrañaba a su madre y sus hermanitos, teníamos que abrazarla y ayudarla a dormir nuevamente para poder dormir nosotros también jajaja. Pasaron los días y se fue adaptando, ya no lloraba pero le gustaba mucho jugar y mordernos los pies durante las noches (y el día también).
We felt like real parents with a new baby at home because during the nights she cried because she still missed her mother and her siblings, we had to hug her and help her to sleep again so we could sleep too hahaha. Days went by and she was adapting, she didn't cry anymore but she loved to play and bite our feet during the nights (and the day too).
