¿Alguna vez habías pensado en esto? Pues apenas escuché sobre el tema se vinieron a mi cabeza una cantidad de animales hermosos creados por Dios para embellecer y darle color a nuestro planeta tierra. Leones, leopardos, tigres, monos, pandas, hipopótamos y muchos animales más llegaron a mi mente en un solo momento. Por otra parte quise investigar un poco sobre que quiere decir "animales exóticos" y le pregunté a una amiga muy experta en este tema de la naturaleza y ella me contestó que para ella hasta una mariposa es una animal exótico.
Como todos ustedes saben yo soy del campo y allí crecí rodeada de toda la naturaleza en su esplendor. Desde que uno se levanta ya comienza a escuchar el canto del gallo, los pájaros, los becerros llorando para que su mamá la vaca les venga amamantar. Lamentablemente el que nace y crece en la ciudad nunca podrá saber de lo que hablo porque vivir entre tanto edificio y tanto concreto no nos brinda algo así.
Have you ever thought about this? As soon as I heard about it, a lot of beautiful animals created by God to beautify and give color to our planet earth came to my mind. Lions, leopards, tigers, monkeys, pandas, hippos and many more animals came to my mind in a single moment. On the other hand, I wanted to do some research on what "exotic animals" means and I asked a friend of mine who is an expert in this subject of nature and she answered me that for her even a butterfly is an exotic animal.
As you all know, I am from the countryside and I grew up there surrounded by nature in all its splendor. From the moment you wake up you can hear the rooster crowing, the birds, the calves crying for their mother the cow to come and suckle them. Unfortunately, those who are born and grow up in the city will never know what I am talking about because living among so many buildings and so much concrete does not give us something like that.
Mi sueño|My dream
Si hay algo que me gustaría profundamente en la vida es regresar a mi tierra andina y poder tener una propiedad grande, con un patio hermoso, que huela a tierra, con árboles frondosos, flores de todos tamaños y colores y una laguna donde el reflejo del sol resplandezca al pasar. En este lugar no estaría yo sola ¡NO! me gustaría que en este sueño o aventura me acompañaran unos lindos animales que recorran mis patios, que decoraren mis arboles con sus hermosos plumajes y que pongan la música desde bien temprano con su lindo cantar.
If there is one thing I would deeply love in life is to return to my Andean land and be able to have a large property, with a beautiful patio, that smells of earth, with lush trees, flowers of all sizes and colors and a lagoon where the reflection of the sun shines as it passes by. In this place I would not be alone, NO! I would like to be accompanied in this dream or adventure by cute animals that roam my yard, decorate my trees with their beautiful plumage and play music early in the morning with their beautiful singing.

¡Guao! se imaginan tener un cuanto pavo real como este recorriendo mi patio, brindándonos un espectáculo al momento de extender su plumaje. Una del pavo real más común es el azul pero déjenme contarles que hay diferentes clases de pavo que poseen forma y color destino.
Wow! Can you imagine having a peacock like this roaming around my yard, putting on a show as it spreads its plumage. One of the most common peacock is the blue one but let me tell you that there are different kinds of peacocks that have shape and color destiny.
Pavo real blanco| White peacock
Cuando veo este ejemplar blanco de pavo real mi mente y mi corazón solo pueden dar gracias al creador, por haber sido tan amable y tan gentil con nosotros sus hijos y haber creado semejante majestad.
La belleza de este animal está en su plumaje y como dato curioso encontré que el macho tiene mejor plumaje y coloración que la hembra. Al parecer el macho abre y agita su plumaje para atraer a las hembras, en cambio las hembras son más pequeñas y con colores menos llamativos. Los pavos reales pueden vivir hasta 20 años, siempre y cuando crezca en un ambiente sano ideal para su desarrollo.
When I see this white peacock specimen my mind and heart can only give thanks to the creator, for being so kind and so gentle to us his children and creating such majesty.
The beauty of this animal is in its plumage and as a curious fact I found that the male has better plumage and coloration than the female. Apparently the male opens and shakes its plumage to attract females, while the females are smaller and less brightly colored. Peacocks can live up to 20 years, as long as it grows in a healthy environment ideal for its development.
Loros o Guacamayas |Parrots or Macaws
No soy de las personas que me guste tener animales encerrados; cada vez que veo esto me acuerdo de algo que leí cuando era una niña donde Simón Bolívar en su infancia liberó a unas aves que estaban encerradas porque decía que "todo el mundo tenía derecho a la libertad". Tambien recuerdo que una vez recién mudada a mi apartamento en Guatire alguien me regaló dos canarios amarillos muy hermosos, pero fue algo que no soporté porque iba en contra de mis principios y aunque quise soltarlos mi vecina quien era muy sabia me dijo que no lo hiciera porque ya esos animales estaban acostumbrados a estar en casa y corrían el riesgo de morir si los soltaba, así que los tuve que regalar a mi hermana quien tenía una hermosa casa y una jaula mucho más grande donde podían compartir con otros animales de su especie.
También me gustaría tener este animal en mi finca de ensueño, me gustaría verlos volar, cantar y ser felices en libertad. Aquí en Caracas hay muchas guacamayas, es un espectáculo encontrarlas en las azoteas de los edificios. Mucha gente que vive cerca del Ávila las mantiene dándoles semillas de girasol. Las guacamayas y los loros han servido de inspiración para muchos artistas, porque su diverso plumaje invita a recrearlo y dejarlo estampado en el lienzo.
I am not one of those people who like to keep animals locked up; every time I see this I remember something I read when I was a child where Simón Bolívar in his childhood freed some birds that were locked up because he said that "everyone had the right to freedom". I also remember that once I just moved to my apartment in Guatire someone gave me two very beautiful yellow canaries, but it was something that I could not stand because it was against my principles and although I wanted to release them my neighbor who was very wise told me not to do it because those animals were already used to be at home and ran the risk of dying if I released them, so I had to give them to my sister who had a beautiful house and a much larger cage where they could share with other animals of their kind.
I would also like to have this animal in my dream farm, I would like to see them fly, sing and be happy in freedom. Here in Caracas there are a lot of macaws, it is a spectacle to find them on the sidewalks of the buildings. Many people who live near the Avila keep them by giving them sunflower seeds. Macaws and parrots have served as inspiration for many artists, because their diverse plumage invites to recreate it and leave it stamped on the canvas.
Dos datos curiosos que encontré sobre estos animales es que no se les debería enseñar hablar, ya que cuando esto sucede se está distorsionan su esencia y si algún día una ave de estas es devuelta a su habitad será rechazada por su manada ya que no habla el idioma guacamayo. Tambien me contaron que las guacamayas son monógamas, es decir que solo tienen una pareja o un amor en su vida. (creo que más de uno debería de aprender esto de las guacamayas).
Te invito a no incentivar el comercio ilegal de estas especies, en vedad que nadie debería de tener aves cautivas, las aves fueron creadas para volar y decorar el hermoso azul del cielo.
Two curious facts I found about these animals is that they should not be taught to speak, as when this happens they are distorting their essence and if one day such a bird is returned to its habitat it will be rejected by its flock as it does not speak the macaw language. I was also told that macaws are monogamous, meaning that they only have one partner or love in their life. (I think more than one should learn this from the macaws).
I invite you not to encourage the illegal trade of these species, in truth that no one should have captive birds, birds were created to fly and decorate the beautiful blue sky.
Tucán
Cada vez que veo un tucán solo viene una cosa a mi mente el "Tuki tuki" de la película "George de la selva" esta singular ave acompañó y sirvió de mensajero a George en toda la película. El tucán es un ave colorido y debe estar entre las primeras de la listas de aves exóticas del mundo. Tiene un hermoso plumaje y unos colores que resaltan su belleza, pero lo que más nos encanta ver es su enorme pico que puede llegar a medir hasta 20 centímetros
Haciendo una breve búsqueda de información encontré un dato que jamás pensé escuchar, los tucanes no solamente comen frutas o gusanos sino también pueden comer roedores y huevos de otras especies. Como anécdota recuerdo que mi tía tenía un tucán en su patio, ella tenía muchos árboles y el animalito podía andar libre por donde quisiera; así que a mí me gustaba verlo y verlo. Sobre todo e causaba curiosidad ver como podía comer los alimentos con ese pico tan grande. Pero son tan inteligentes que consiguen la manera y forma de hacerlo muy fácilmente.
Es terrible y da pena ver como el hombre vuelve a meter su mano y es culpable de que esta ave se encuentre ahora en peligro de extinción, ya que los casan para venderlos como animales exóticos por grandes sumas de dinero.
Every time I see a toucan only one thing comes to my mind the "Tuki tuki" from the movie "George of the Jungle" this unique bird accompanied and served as George's messenger throughout the movie. The toucan is a colorful bird and should be at the top of the list of exotic birds in the world. It has a beautiful plumage and colors that highlight its beauty, but what we love to see the most is its huge beak that can measure up to 20 centimeters.
Doing a brief search for information I found a fact that I never thought I would hear, toucans not only eat fruits or worms but they can also eat rodents and eggs of other species. As an anecdote I remember that my aunt had a toucan in her backyard, she had many trees and the little animal could roam free wherever he wanted; so I liked to see it and see it. I was especially curious to see how it could eat food with such a big beak. But they are so smart that they get the way to do it very easily.
It's terrible and sad to see how man puts his hand back in and it is to blame that this bird is now in danger of extinction, since they marry them to sell them as exotic animals for large sums of money.
Flamingo o flamenco
¡Y que les parece si por ultimo metemos en mi precioso lugar de ensueño unos 3 o 4 o 5 o un poquito más de estos hermosos animales llamados flamingo o flamenco; me gustaría darle un toque especial a mi laguna que tendré a unos cuantos metros de la casa. Sería un hermoso detalle color pastel que embellecería el lugar que por supuesto también estaría rodeado de garzas blancas que vendrían a tomar agua en la laguna todas las tardes. Me encantaría ver este espectáculo maravilloso todos los días para suspira, creo que es algo que no me cansaría de ver nunca.
Nunca pensé distraerme tanto con una iniciativa como la que hoy me ha tocado, ha sido todo un poema y mi corazón se siente en este momento en profundo reposo y suspiro. Muchas gracias amigo @ilazramusic por este detalle. Me gustó mucho soñar despierta e imaginarme todo esto que tal vez algún día se haga realidad. Escogí las aves porque de verdad no me imagino viviendo con felino o con reptiles a mí alrededor, es que de solo pensar me da cosa.
And what do you think if we finally put in my precious dream place some 3 or 4 or 5 or a little more of these beautiful animals called flamingo or flamingo to give a special touch to my lagoon that I will have a few meters from the house. I never thought to be so distracted by an initiative like the one I got today, it was all a poem and my heart feels at this moment in deep rest and sigh. Thank you very much friend @ilazramusic for this detail. I really enjoyed daydreaming and imagining all this that maybe someday will come true. I chose birds because I really can't imagine living with felines or reptiles around me, just thinking about makes me sick.
