Cruising through Market Friday Challenge | SHOES FOR SALE

I haven't had much to share lately although Shopping πŸ› is one of my favourite therapy. It's just been my usual weekend grocery πŸ›’ at the local wet market. Instead, I've been spending more ⏰ at gym - sweating it out and trying to keep fit. Cutting down on all those carbo and chips sodium. The chips is the hard part since I ❀️ those LAYS chips. For a better and healthier lifestyle, ones got to do what is best!

Anyhow, last weekend, I found myself standing in front of this particular part of the market and staring at the goods that was being sold a bit longer than usual. At first, it was the sight of the fruits that caught my attention. From the top right, you will see those large pomelos - there was so many of them, each one cost only VND20,000 p/kg. These pomelos can be found whole year round in Vietnam since it is grown locally and one of the favourite snack by the locals. Looking to the left, shoes of all sorts were available at various prices. I don't recall ever seeing this seller displaying his goods here before.

There was a passerby who stopped and showed interest in these slippers. I mean, they do seemed rather colourful and would do the decent job of any casual wear. Not sure about the durability & sustainability though. I guess for whatever price it may be, no one really cares.

There's lots to choose from - different designs and sizes too. Take a pick; that must their MOTTO ! Hard times like these makes people finds alternatives for survival. If by selling ones goods at local wet markets such as this allows them to get a couple of bucks, then so be it. It's better to do something rather than nothing. At least it's a legal way of survival.
