You are so right! It has gotten so out of hand, hasn't it? I mean, it is cool, but! I think it is because of the technology and let's face it, it is super cool! But they have something that many of us didn't.
Disposable income.
And if young people don't, they charge it. I see it all the time. Yours may not, but, the young people of today think nothing of being in debt. They are usually sunk after assuming college debt. I do like that zero gravity chair. :) I think I would like that for me. Can you ship it to me when he is done with it? I don't mind secondhand. This was great and very unique. I guess I forgot how much they need!
#MarketFriday has evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages. Along with the fact of what is normal for where you live? These are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue.
