Hello, friends!
Today i would like to share our shopping experience, not in a mall this time cause we were going to a cheaper place than in mall, where you could find many things from clothes, sleeping wear, shoes even beddings. In this place, some maybe even buy things to sell it again, so in this place everything could be cheaper, but if you can do the bargaining well. Mom is usually a good negotiator. We planned to buy the bed sheet cause ours were old, also we needed to buy mom's flip flop and sleeping wears.
This morning we went there at around 9.30 am cause at 10am they were opened the place, the place named ITC Mangga Dua and it is located in Mangga Dua area. Here how the entrance lobby looked like.
Like usually we should scan the qr code there, the function is to help the government control the persons that are there in the building plus by this app which is related to our citizen number would shown our vaccination status, we needed to get the vaccination before we could enter all buildings or shopping centers here.
Not far from the entrance gate, we found the sandal store... good cause mom needed one for her to wear at home.
We found one that fit her, great!
Look in my last picture, mom was her first customer, so she received the money then she clapped the money to her selling things then said "penglaris penglaris", it is indonesian which means to help make her other selling things sold too. Weird but here some sellers still do this old thing.
Next, in other store we bought sleeping wears, mom's was duster while me, pajama...
Then we went to the 2nd floor to buy the bedsheet. This place was famous and usually sold our organic cotton bedsheet but unfortunatelly now they only sold organic bamboo one. We chose then bought one, hope that it also comfortable for us when we use it later.
Then we bought the towel too, we needed the small one to take a bath.. not many stores had it so we were lucky to find this store.. in this place we had to buy 3 pieces of the towel but that's okay cause we needed this.
We actually were also hunting food there (would talk about it later, cause i would talk about food more clearly in my another article, cause i found gems there too) and also shopping some more things, mom even bought a pair of pajama for my friend's toddler.. i even couldn't take any more photos or videos cause our hands were full. We then waiting in the lobby for our taxi to come cause we needed to back home.
