BEHOLD! The Magic canna-plant that nearly grew all on it's own. I forget sometimes just how resilient most cannabis is, it's only when we push them beyond their limits (or get attacked by swarms) do they truly suffer.
More new genetics from Thudbuds - this lady is called Pie-Stomper - a cross between Key Lime Pie (heavy resin producing 75% Indica with heavy lime-citrus flavor), and Grape Stomper (cross between Purple Elephant and Chemdawg Sour Diesel - lighter 60% Sativa with heavy fruity flavor and complex lineage).
This union births flowers that are more like fruit punch (a very good taste), compared to the other citrus top-tiers that were also harvested from light-dep around the same time (Lemon Skunk - 70% Sativa & a very special cut of Mimosa - Sativa with Tangie lineage, the flavor of which is extremely tricky to keep in the gene pool when mating with other varieties). I will be publishing separate posts about the Pie-Stomper, as well as the rest of the top-shelf citrus flowers I have soon as well.
Virginia did something interesting...
As of July 2021, you can now grow 4 plants in Virginia at any residence, same as Oregon. WHAAAT?! Super surprised the commonwealth... especially the biggest tobacco state in the country, would allow this on a community level before big-bacco had a chance to grab a stranglehold over (at least) the local canna-market. More about this topic in the above video.
Grow tip!
If you are growing in pots, and are planning on moving your cannabis plants any time after about 1/2 way through the flower cycle... you will shock you plants, causing them to STOP GORWING FOR TWO WEEKS! This will push your projected harvest date back two weeks (obviously), which in the PNW or anywhere with rain/moisture/mold/humidity issues in the climate zone, this could spell disaster and a significate loss of yield to mold... herb for thought...
