As i roam around Tacloban City, Philippines, 8 years after it was devastated by Super Typhoon Haiyan. I notice this notable building. The abode to the fourth president of the Philippines from the year 1944-1946.

As i am approaching near the CAP building i also notice the Statues, standing President Sergio Osmeña with General McArthur the infamous general of the Leyte Gulf War with the very famous tag line " I shall return".

It is a little dark due to the light and i am just using a phone. Besides, the statues is old enough that it got algae already seen as the green pigments. With the second look, yes they are coated in a golden paint manifestation of their golden contribution to the history of the Philippines.

Sigh, i was not able to come in due to some restriction issue. The place is being preserve and being renovated. If you can observe the green surrounding it has. Plants are so healthy and a serenity with dignity.
