The clouds have been thick around here lately and around evening time you can get some nice sun rays piercing through them.
I find that my zoom lens does the best in capturing the piercing rays.
Most of these shots ended up having a greenish hue because I was shooting this from inside a car.
Outside the car the color becomes more natural.
Here is a really strange formation with a big thundercloud behind these lighter clouds that are being highlighted by the sun. Shortly after this there was a downpour that lasted only around 5 minutes but soaked everything.
I had to jump back into the car to get some more sunray photos.
Now that the rain has passed and the sun is almost down the moon has arrived in the opposite side of the sky.
Some random Canadian geese are flying off to hunker down for the night. Too bad I couldn't get a shot of them with the moon behind them...
