Hunting for the Fae

You'd think I had to modify that photo, but honestly, I just used an auto clean up on that one. As I mentioned in my Actifit post last night, my daughter and I took a walk through a nearby abandoned quarry to look for the "wee folk." You can take this for a grain salt, but I have heard from folks who know the area fairly well that you can hear the fae music in the wind from time to time. What better way to spend a Monday night after work, right?

Here were a few photos we took together while on our mini Monday adventure.

And then the hunt began...everyone knows fae loves wild flowers!

Alas, no fae found, but plenty of bees, flies, and other photographers in the area.

It's actually a pretty special place; we sat on a rock together to take in the crickets, the wind, and the beautiful afternoon. Hopefully more to share soon!
