This is a post to go with WednesdayWalk challenge by @tattoodjay

All pictures taken by me. I share some fresh streetphoto I took last weekon the central streets of St.Petersburg.

After I finished my office day quite early I decided to elongate my day and did not head straight to the tube homewards, but .. well, I headed to the other tube station -- chose the long way, and explored / inspected a few districts. It was extremely fruitful walk! in terms of my harvest.

I had a nice eye contact with the boy in the middle. He was crying and complaining about something, but stopped and cheered up when saw I was shooting him. A nice little piece of event that our daily life is bricked of. :P

Couriers having a leizure minute on the streets of St.Petersburg. The moment I captured lasted not more than 4 seconds - on the 2nd frame I took the man already noticed me and looked into the camera. The moment have gone momentarily... but it was captured - happily I had camera in my hands, with the finger on the trigger :)

I was passing by an old apartment building on Vvedenskaya Street, an outstanding example of the Art Nouveau style, I love it very much. This time I hunted for graffiti and scenes of street life, not the beauties of architecture ... but walking by this house it is impossible to resist pointing the telephoto lens at this beauty ... and then pulling the trigger. I took only 2 photos, and quickly forced myself to move on :)

I have not visited this area of the city in over 10 years! a lot has changed here ... but most of the beautiful houses, fortunately, have remained in their places :) Walking further along Vvedenskaya Street, I discovered that there was a skateboarders' own residence here! A small corner of the yard between the two houses is fenced off and given to them for entertainment. I thought that here it is definitely possible (and necessary) to shoot scenes, armed with a telephoto lens, as well as a wide-angle ... and a fisheye. A wonderful find! I had a 150mm macro telephoto lens with me, which I used to take a few shots for trial. Two walls of this courtyard are covered with graffiti, and I hope that I will come back here more than once.

Blackening on the left side of the frame happened due to the fence -- I was shooting these captures thru the fence. This wall is waiting to be inspected closely with a more wide-angle approach.

Then I discovered this nice piece of art, that occured on some abandoned parts of the city (sadly). It was a coffee kiosk.. abandoned at quite the central and fashionable and splendid city district.. heh. shit happens! I inspected that kiosk closely and took a series of shots (already shared them in a separate post).

Two ladies having fun at the kidz playground -- happily the place was vacant :P

I made a crop version from my momentary one-take capture.
I love my telephoto lens more and more, for doing things like this. Now I dream about getting a Canon 135mm 2.0L into my collection... hoping it will be a great streetphoto assistant for my walks.

But it cant do a lot of things too -- I need wide angle to capture the landscapes. SO, recently I borrow two lens with me: 150mm macro-tele for streetphoto, and 16-35mm for occasional cases of emergency like this.

Here I discovered a very intresting spot right in the center of the city! Does it look like a metropolic center with the rediculous real estate prices, at all? But it is. And having telephoto didnt help me to capture it. I will take more pics and then tell you an intresting story behind this spot.

I also discovered some graffity here... and a lot of other things, among them four second-handed dressing tables (!) with mirrors - I used one of them to take my selfie for the #reflectionhunters contest. It turned out to be not an easy task, but after several blind attempts, I got more or less suitable shot.
