Hello my friends!
As promised a few posts ago, I'm back with another party album. A selection of photos full of joy, where you can feel the music and almost want to dance.
We are still waiting for the events to return safely so that we can blend in with the audience once again.
Telling stories of events is a job little sought after by more renowned photographers, many argue that it is not a favorable environment for good photos. I always thought differently from that, I think night life also has its value as a representation of human movements and whenever I worked on shows or parties I tried to bring an artistic look. Using techniques like panning and zooming or double exposure to add movement, or low light using just the dimness of the environment to create a gloomy atmosphere, or just blending in with people and being human and having fun together to bring out spontaneous smiles and beautiful portraits.
I see working at night parties as a great photographic challenge. The lights change a lot from environment to environment, you need to be aware of the audience's movements, you need to be aware of the music to predict explosions of feeling and, above all, it's an environment that forces you to know your equipment very well. I believe that in the periods when I worked at parties and night shows I could advance and improve my knowledge of the equipment and perception of light variations a lot. That's why I highly recommend shooting night events as an excellent photographic exercise.
In today's album, I bring a beautiful party that took place at the event house "Balaio de Gato", which is currently closed due to the pandemic.
That night, in addition to using the techniques I've already mentioned, I took with me a kaleidoscope (manually produced by myself) to fit the lens to create reflections and enjoy the city lights outside the party and also to create portraits with beautiful effects. .
On stage we had two local bands playing national rock mixed with typical rhythms from the northeast region of Brazil.

Olá meus amigos!
Conforme prometido alguns posts atrás, volto com mais um álbum de festa. Uma seleção de fotos cheia de alegria, onde pode se sentir a música e quase da vontade de dançar.
Ainda seguimos aguardando o retorno dos eventos em segurançapara podermos nos misturar no meio do público mais uma vez.
Contar historias de eventos é um trabalho pouco procurado por fotógrafos mais renomados, muitos argumentam não ser um ambiente propício para boas fotos. Sempre pensei diferente disso, acho que a vida noturna também tem seu valor como representação dos movimentos humanos e sempre que trabalhei em shows ou festas busquei trazer um olhar artístico. Utilizando técnicas como panning e zooming ou dupla exposição para agregar movimento, ou uma baixa luz usando apenas a penumbra do ambiente para criar uma atmosfera soturna, ou apenas me misturando nas pessoas e sendo humano e me divertindo junto para arrancar sorrisos espontâneos e belos retratos.
Eu vejo o trabalho em festas noturnas como um grande desafio fotográfico. As luzes mudam muito de ambiente para ambiente, é preciso estar atento aos movimentos do público, é preciso estar atento a música para prever explosões de sentimento e acima de tudo é um ambiente que te obriga a conhecer muito bem seu equipamento. Acredito que nos periodos em que trabalhei em festas e shows noturnos pude avançar e aprimorar muito meu conhecimento do equipamento e de percepção das variações de luz. Por isso recomendo muito fotografar eventos noturnos como um excelente exercício fotográfico.
Neste album de hoje, trago uma bela festa quense deu na casa de eventos "Balaio de Gato", hoje em dia fechada por conta da pandemia.
Nessa noite, além de usar as técnicas que já mencionei, levei comigo um caleidoscópio (produzido manualmente por mim mesmo) para encaixar na lente e criar reflexos e aproveitar as luzes da cidade no lado de fora da festa e também para criar retratos com belos efeitos.
No palco tivemos duas bandas locais tocando rock nacional mesclado com ritmos típicos da regiao nordeste do Brasil.
