Something's still blooming

Last weekend, on a walk around the river, I photographed not only birds and butterflies, but also flowers and flowering trees.

The plants are neither rare nor exotic. They are quite common here and some I would even describe as weeds. But who would care about origin or usefulness? In this case, I was only interested in one thing: if they were good-looking.

I've written here before: spring is a very rich season from a photographic perspective - at least when it comes to nature photography. So it would be a shame not to take advantage of it.
