Helfštýn je mohutný hrad, stojící na kopci nad údolím Moravské Brána. Následující fotky jsou z noční prohlídky, spojené s ochutnávkou vína.
Mohutné opevnění vypadá při západu slunce velmi nepřístupně. Naštěstí brána je otevřená.

Po prvním pásu hradeb následuje příkop a další hradby. Není divu, že hrad Helfštýn nebyl nikdy vojensky dobyt.

Na Helfštýně bývá každoroční mezinárodní kovářské fórum. Na hradě je kovárna a na kovové plastiky tu narazíte na každém kroku.
An annual International Blacksmith Forum is held at Helfštýn. There is a forge in the castle and metal sculptures can be found at every turn.
Večerní program započal a z temných stínů se vynořily záhadné postavy. Nejdříve tančily a pak spolu bojovali.
The evening program began and mysterious figures emerged from the dark shadows. First they danced and then they fought.
Po programu následovala volná prohlídka hradu. Ve dne jsem byl na Helfštýně mnohokrát, ale noční prohlídka je něco úplně jiného.
Pokud pozorný divák postřehne na cimbuří "bílou paní", je to omyl. Originální helfštýnské strašidlo je Zelená paní, ale tu se nám nepodařilo potkat.
The programme was followed by a free tour of the castle. I have been to Helfštýn many times during the day, but a night tour is something completely different.
If an attentive viewer spots a "white lady" on the battlements, it is a mistake. The original Helfštýn ghost is the Green Lady, but we didn't get to meet her.
Závěr noční prohlídky hradu byl veselý: žádná strašidla, ale hudba, víno, jídlo...
