Pests: Many, tiny and cute | PHOTOS [Eng-Esp]

Whenever we hear the word "pest" we think of something that is harmful or causes damage and is difficult to eliminate. The latter may be true but there are insects that are necessary and not harmful as is the case with some that make a life in nature. Today I want to show you the tiny beings that I found in the plants of my garden that more than calling them pests I call them friends of my garden.

Amigos de Hive

Siempre que oímos la palabra "plaga" pensamos en algo que es perjudicial o que causa daño y que es difícil de eliminar. Esto último puede ser cierto, pero hay insectos necesarios y no perjudiciales como el caso de algunos que hacen vida en la naturaleza. Hoy les quiero mostrar los seres diminutos que encontré en las plantas de mi jardín que más que llamarlos plagas le digo amigos de mi vergel.

From what I have read there are insects necessary for plants, such as butterflies and bees, so not every bug that lives in nature is harmful. There are moths, some caterpillars, grasshoppers, spider mites, among other tiny creatures that contribute to the life of our garden. They're just annoying because they often scare us, that's the only real problem.

Por lo que he leído hay insectos necesarios para las plantas, como lo son las mariposas y las abejas, así que no todo bicho que vive en la naturaleza es dañino. Hay polillas, algunas orugas, saltamontes, arañitas, entre otros seres diminutos que contribuyen para la vida de nuestro jardín. Solo que son molestos porque muchas veces nos asustan, ese es el único problema real.
