Exploring the lush fields of India, where hemp grows wild and free.

Hello, friends. I hope you all are healthy.

Today I will tell you about a weed (hemp) whose price is very high and it grows naturally in large quantities in India.

Friends, I write a daily blog on Hive. Last two days I went to my friend's wedding. Because of which I could not write a blog.

It rained a lot in my village last night. The rain increased the cold due to which the petals of the flowers on the fruits got burnt due to frost. If such cold continues continuously, fruit crops may get damaged.

After completing my market work in the morning, as soon as I reach home, I have breakfast and go to the apple orchard. These days the work of removing weeds from apple plants is going on. So my eyes fall on the hemp plant. So I thought why not share with you today some of my thoughts about this hemp plant.

Cannabis is illegal in India but you will find its plant everywhere. I don't know why it is illegal, but earlier people used to make rope from it by extracting fiber from its stalk. (Now rope is easily available in the shops) They also used to make seed oil and delicious chutney from it. They also used to make hashish from its leaves. The price of which is very high. It was probably an intoxicant sold by the farmers and then the government banned it.

I took some pictures of hemp plants which I am sharing with you guys. I took these photos with the Sony a58 18:55mm kit lens and edited them on Snapseed.
