Framing Them Fragments

Time flies so hard, recently, give it a point, call it a nail. Or the other way around, a head — a hammer. Mjolnir, if you like. Time is Mjolnir. THere you have it. Time is Mjolnir and that is that.

Little was I able to afford of it a couple of weeks ago and we had a walk around an old town stretching into the sea.

A relic of times of some aspirations of the naval persuasion, I guess. THat would be that masted building. Something like a naval High school or youth academy I think it used to be...probably before I could talk much.

Aperture F 8; Shutter Speed 1/200 sec.; Light Sensitivity ISO 200; FOcal Length 154 mm

The F 8 aperture value tends to go towards the closed end, even though it's far from it, yet. When we close the aperture a bit...or more...and we have a light source peaking behind an edge, these rays of light appear. If you close your aperture far enough, the metal elements inside your photo lens play the role of edges themselves and those rays appear even when your light source seems to be in the middle of the frame, not obstructed by anything. Not the case.

The building in the distance, the on on focus, it was a socialism-time idea of grandeur, I suppose. Not entirely bad, this one. It has its charms. It does remind me of a ship.

I'm behind wooden parts of century-old buildings. But that's another matter, entirely.

Peace be upon you!

Manol
