Snow? in July?

Don't be fooled into thinking that this was a cold hike. It was late July 2018 and we were hiking the Elfin Lakes trail just North of Vancouver, BC. It was at least 35C (95F) that day. But once we arrived at our campsite we had a refreshing dip in the lake (not this one, I actually posted the lake that we swam in yesterday).

Hiking in the snow in the middle of summer was such a weird thing for two new Aussies in Canada. But almost four years later it's still fun to surprise friends and family back home with photos of us in knee-deep snow wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
