Sunny, Icy, Foggy Lakescape

It just so happens that I am always behind a season with my posts here. When it's spring I have winter posts and when it's winter I have summer posts 😀. The spring is in full swing here in Estonia. Today we got 20C temperatures here and it was amazing. Unfortunately, it will get colder again, but let's hope that stable warmth is not too long off.
Here I have some winter photos for you that I captured back in December last year. It is the darkest time of the year so sunny days are like a godsend. I have photos of two different days here but taken in the same week. Both times I went for a walk next to a nearby lake.

The lake itself was under an ice sheet at the time. Thick enough to take a walk on but for some reason I didn't go on the ice not once this winter. It kinda looks like I'm on the ice but photos are taken with a telephoto lens.

Now the following photos are much cooler. It was a very cold day, around -20C temperatures. A low fog was on the lake and is a great subject to have photos taken of.

The sun is out but I bet that these photos make you feel the cold.

Oh no I don't miss that time. I love the warmth now and longer days. We have daylight until 9 in the evening and days will get even longer fast now. It's crazy to think that the longest days of the year are only a couple of months away.
