@sjarvie5 is asking "Where were you 10 years ago" for the PhotoGames Where Wednesday and since the game is inspired by one of my posts, I tried to answer as accurate as I could :)
The closest to today date that I managed to find in my hard drive is June 19th. It is the first of a five days trip to Corfu, assigned by the magazine I was working for, back then in 2011.
I'll keep this post just to that specific day so it is not going to be a proper travel post. It will be more like a diary with pictures!
My line of work was to provide pictures to illustrate a travel feature on the island but also to photograph local businesses that were advertised in the magazine.
I arrived by plane in the morning and off to work!
11.20 The first appointment of the day was at a small delicatessen in the old town.
11.35 Right next door, one of the oldest traditional restaurants.
A few hours rest and then a few more clients.
16.00 Malibu Summer Beach Club
17.40 Hawaii pool club
20.40 to 20.55 The dusk! I spent it around the old Vevetian fortress.
21.45 The restaurant "Venetian Well". One of the most historical and beautiful restaurants in Corfu.
22.30 The last restaurant of the day and the one that will deliver my dinner! A traditional sofrito recipe and a glass of white wine :)
