Holy garden

Yesterday I was looking for a location to do a portrait shooting for a friend and ended up to the garden of a small, very old church. It is a beautiful, peaceful place, with a lot of flowers and trees. Ideal for portraits and not only!

As we were wandering around to find the perfect spots for the portraits, I didn't miss the opportunity to capture some of the flowers' beauty! The garden is very well attended and mostly enjoyable for all the senses!

I was using my intimidating 80-200mm f/2.8L (my friend did scared a bit when she saw it) which I consider great for portraits but for close-ups too. It is not a proper macro lens but I like the result!

During the whole time we repeatedly annoyed this lovely peacock who was leaving every time we were close, only to move to the next spot we were about to go in a few minutes :)

And of course a shot of the church that so generously provided the scenery we needed!
