Lovely Autumn Colors In The Vine

The time finally has come. I've been waiting for autumn to kick in so I can photograph beautiful leaves. The season has just started and most of the leaves are still green, but the vine has already changed color.

What I love about these leaves is those colorful veins.

Look at this for example. The veins remain green, while the rest of the leaf is dark brown, or claret, or whatever color you see on the photo. I tried to figure out what's the reason for those color differences and the only explanation I could come up with is that maybe those veins are transporting nutrition and water and that's why have been able to still remain green, while the other part are drying out.

If you look at the first photo, that is very different as it's a different type of vine.

Unfortunately some of the leaves are already too dry, some are already half dead.

The problem with the vine this year is that the only joy we got is the leaves. Grapes are missing, we only got a few, like 1% of what we used to have.

Unfortunately this is it for today, the rest of the leaves are still green, the usual green, nothing special.

My next target is the ivy, which can be wonderful in October. I know a few places in the city, were ivy took over years ago and when the leaves are starting to turn red, brown and yellow, those places look like a real heaven.
