Street Photography, Downtown Buenos Aires.

Street Photography, Downtown Buenos Aires.

Yesterday I was checking my folders in Drive and I found some photos of the downtown area of the city of Buenos Aires that I had not shared with you. I haven't gone out lately to walk around the city or take new photos, I've been quite busy being sick with the flu and also a lot of work, I hope to take a little walk today to renew and have fresher photos.

Today I bring you a series of 10 photos that I took a few weeks ago while I was walking around the Plaza de la República and the San Nicolás neighborhood.

This is a small view of the entrance to Corrientes Avenue from 9 de Julio Avenue. I think you can appreciate architecture more than urban planning.

Another of the shots I took standing on one of the islands to cross 9 de Julio Avenue. I don't remember exactly the time but there was too much traffic, I photographed this building in the area.

9 de Julio Avenue is considered, if I'm not mistaken, the widest in Latin America, it's literally impossible to cross it in a single change of traffic light. This image shows some of the people waiting for the light to change so they can cross while others walk in another direction.

The day I was here taking these photos I got off at the "Diagonal Norte" subway station on line C. This line is located in what is known as the microcenter on Roque Saenz Peña Avenue.

That car was parked near the station and I decided to take a photo of it incorporating the green of the trees around.

I don't remember why I left this photo aside. I think it's quite interesting, I also love these shots in which this type of architecture is in the background while the main focus is on the girl crossing the street.

I have always been fascinated by traffic lights, there is something attractive about them that I cannot explain ñ, in relation to street photography of course. Here I took two photos of this... In the last photo the metropolitan cathedral is in the background.

I hope you liked this set of street photography of the downtown of Buenos Aires. Have a nice Tuesday :)
