The impressive and imposing architectures that the city of Buenos Aires offers us as we advance step by step is simply sublime. Literally at every corner, at every turn, we can get something magnificent that will capture our attention.
In this post you can appreciate each of these buildings that have passed through the years and that for this opportunity, will be expressed in Monochrome, a black and white style that accentuates each shape, line, aspect and photographic composition and what within them represents.
Las impresionantes e imponentes arquitecturas que nos brinda la ciudad de Buenos Aires con el paso a paso que avanzamos es simplemente sublime. Literalmente en cada esquina, en cada vuelta, podemos conseguir algo magnífico que captará nuestra atención.
En este post se puede apreciar cada una de estas edificaciones que han pasado a través de los años y que para esta oportunidad, serán expresadas en Monocromo, un estilo en blanco y negro que acentúa cada forma, línea, aspecto y composición fotograficas y lo que dentro de ellas representa.
This photograph shows the Buenos Aires city hall located in front of Plaza de Mayo and we can see the Legislature building in the background. The image was captured by me from a detailed perspective where I managed to cover both the floor and the target to be centered and the sky. In both photographs we see a different foreground, the floor as foreground and in the other image the cabildo as foreground.
En ésta fotografía se encuentra plasmado el cabildo de Buenos Aires ubicado frente a la Plaza de Mayo y podemos observar en el fondo al edificio de la Legislatura. La imagen fue capturada por mi desde una perspectiva minuciosa dónde logré abarcar tanto el piso como el objetivo a centrar y el cielo. En ambas fotografías vemos un primer plano distinto, el piso como primer plano y en la otra imagen el cabildo como primer plano.
For this picture we can see the famous Kavanagh building, located in the retirement district and opposite the Plaza San Martin is recognized for its great architecture and the use that was given was always completely residential, so it is considered something extravagant and also very expensive to live. The apartments for rent in this place are between 2,000 and 3,000 dollars.
Para esta fotografía podemos ver el famoso edificio Kavanagh, ubicado en el barrio de retiro y frente a la Plaza San Martin es reconocido por su gran arquitectura ya que el uso que se le dió siempre fue completamente residencial, así que se considera algo extravagante y además muy costoso para habitar. Los departamentos en alquiler en este lugar ronda entre los 2.000 y 3.000 dólares.
Here we have the Congress of the Argentine Nation, located in the neighborhood of congress, here is where all the laws of various sectors in the country are studied and approved, it is also a place of a lot of concurrence in terms of protests, demonstrations and marches.
Acá tenemos al Congreso de la Nación Argentina, ubicado en el barrio de congreso, acá es donde se estudian y aprueban todas las leyes de diversos sectores en el país, además es un sitio de muchísima concurrencia en cuanto a protestas, manifestaciones y marchas.
La Inmobiliaria building, is a building from 1910 and was built under an eclectic architectural style with neoclassical influences, located in the neighborhood of Monserrat, is the building whose domes are one of the most photographed in the city.
Edificio la Inmobiliaria, es un edificio del año 1910 y fue construida bajo un estilo de arquitectura ecléctico con influencias neoclasicas, ubicado en el barrio de Monserrat, es el edificio cuyas cúpulas son unas de las más fotografiadas de la ciudad.
And last but not least, we cannot fail to mention Palacio Barolo Tours. An office building located in the neighborhood of Monserrat with an eclectic style and that at the time of construction was the tallest building in the country and South America. A curious fact is that this building has a twin brother made by the same architect in the city of Montevideo called Palacio Salvo.
Y por último no podemos dejar de mencionar en Palacio Barolo Tours. Un edificio de oficinas ubicado en el barrio de Monserrat con un estilo ecléctico y que al momento de construcción fue el edificio más alto del país y de Suramérica. Un dato curioso es que éste edificio tiene un hermano gemelo hecho por el mismo arquitecto en la ciudad de Montevideo llamado Palacio Salvo.
