Hey Folks
These shots were taken on a recent day trip to Loch Tay ,one of Scotland's largest Lakes and one of the most stunning beauty spots in Scotland.
This path leads down to the ruins of Old Lawers village which sits on the banks of the Lake.
This ruined building was once the house of the Lady of Lawers who was a renowned 15th century clairvoyant.
This other building was once a church.
When the Lady of Lawers died she was buried in this area somewhere beneath this tree.
When visiting the old ruins the best place to park is at this hotel. Its named after the tallest mountain in the area Ben Lawers which is the tallest peak you can see in the background of these 2 photos.
The hotel is a great place to base yourself if you plan on doing some hillwalking or wandering around the picturesque lakeside. It also has a beer garden if you just feel like stopping for a quick pint and a bite to eat.
