This beautiful flowering plant in Indonesia is known as Pakis Giwang. In English this flowering plant is known as the Crown of Thorns. Pakis Giwang is thought to have originated in the Middle East since the ancient times.
Currently, ornamental plant lovers have cultivated a lot of Crown of Thorns. One of the countries that cultivate the Crown of Thorns to date is Indonesia. As the name implies, namely the crown of thorns, these plants have very many thorns. The trunk is covered with long, sharp spines.
