Croce Arcana, Emilia/Tuscany (Italy).
"Passo della Croce Arcana" is an ancient Emilian pass of the Apennines (closed for car in winter), 1669 meters high, located between the province of Pistoia and Modena, in Fanano town.
I went many time here with the sky, most of the time alone.
These shoots has been taken in winter 2008 and 2010, with analogic camera.

This place is famous for the stronger wind ever recorder in Italy. Wet air from the sea pass through this pass, creating in winter a wonderful land, covering all thing with ice:
I stayed here a bit of time, and before sunset, I started to come back:
