Do you have time to listen to music? Probably not, in this general euphoria and bullish trend of BTC and HIVE, everyone's eyes are glistening and all they see is money.
But I'm sure we all need some music news too, not just financial news. You know, it's good and useful to broaden our own cultural horizons ...

As usual, some old music stars appear regularly, some young aspiring musicians, and some completely new to me.
I'll be happy if you find something for yourself. And if something bothers you, feel free to skip.

Guns N'Roses - Hard Skool

The reunion of Guns N' Roses with Slash and Duff in 2016 finally yielded one more song, "Hard Skool", which has been written since the rest of the writing of the "Chinese Democracy" album when Slash and McKagan were not in the band.
It is still not clear what other intentions Guns N 'Roses have with the new music and whether all this leads to the announcement of the album, hopefully, one that will include newly written songs rather than mining the archive.
But to be understood - this song is great as far as I'm concerned.

Uffe - Handgrenade

Uffe Christensen, Danish DJ, producer, musician, and singer, returns to the music world after a few years of disappearance with the album "Words and Endings". Since the house music that Uffe was most involved in has become somewhat watered down in recent years, Uffe has also left. But if you're a musician, you can't just disappear, and here, instead of a house, he offers us dub, mixed with dissonant jazzy keyboards and an intertwined squad of rhythmic percussion and bass samples. Interesting.

NEISHA - LE VKUP feat. Zoran Čalić

Neisha is a well-known Slovenian singer, vocalist, and composer. This is her latest song, which is very likely to become a hit (like some of her other hits which have over a million views, which isn't a small number for the Slovenian audience). Here she collaborates with guitarist Zoran Čalić, a member of Big Foot Mama and the even more famous Majke.

Buč Kesidi - Nebitna

An Indie duo from Serbia, Buč Kesidi, made a huge hype in the region with their excellent album 'Euphoria', which charted almost all over the Balkans in the album of the year charts. Critics praise the music and lyrics as anthems of a generation, hundreds of thousands of YouTube views and sold-out concerts confirm the position of regional stars.
True, it's great pop-rock to me too, but when I hear the drumming style, and the guitars, they remind me quite a bit of The Black Keys, El Camino... btw: Nebitna in English means irrelevant ...

Santana - Move

Santana's new video, as an introduction to the new album 'Blessings and Miracles'. Singer Rob Thomas is back, as, on Smooth, Carlos and he seem to get on very well. A great vocal with a recognizable guitar virtuoso will, I predict, quickly rise in the listening, viewing, and streaming charts.

Gerry Rafferty - Sign of the Times

This song is from the new or rather old album "Rest In Blue", which is a posthumous release, unfortunately, Gerry said goodbye to this world (2011) and didn't manage to finish it. The production was finished by his daughter Martha Rafferty.
I have to say that I love the album, the music is fresh, a mixture of rock and folk, Gerry is, without doubt, a great writer and musician and has rightly earned this publication.

Mizar - Messengers Of The Downfall

Cult Macedonian band Mizar has released a new single 'Messengers Of The Downfall'. The pioneers of dark sound in the region continue to create the same powerful sound after 40 years, led by deep vocals with which they remarkably interpret a specific sound based on old Slavic church chanting.
Although Mizar is basically a rock band, their sound mixes glimpses of Macedonian ethnic music and Byzantine traditions.

Moor Mother - Zami

Artist Camae Ayewa (member of Irreversible Entanglements, too) is a new discovery for me. Her specific style belongs to the domain of Afrofuturism, as a genre of cultural production that has nothing to do with the history of the West and represents a different perception of time and space.
The musician's sixth solo album, 'Black Encyclopedia of the Air', deepens this difference. Although it's probably not for all ears and eyes, the video is a superb aesthetic product, and the music is a stunning blend of jazz, hip-hop, and noise. Recommended.
