En un post anterior les había hablado sobre como formé mi primera banda, la cual duró algunos años activa, entre toques, eventos, ensayos y presentaciones informales en fiestas y lugares públicos, fueron muchas las veces que compartimos como banda la experiencia de tocar en tarimas muchísimas canciones y a la vez haciendo lo que más nos gustaba, hacer música.
In a previous post I had told you about how I formed my first band, which lasted some active years, between plays, events, rehearsals and informal presentations at parties and public places, there were many the times we share as a band the experience of playing many songs on platforms while doing what we liked the most, making music.
Uno de los tantos toques a los cuales asistimos fue algo bastante informal, recuerdo que hace unos años nos invitaron a tocar en una cancha, no era un “concierto” ni nada por el estilo, sino más bien una reunión de varias bandas que se juntarían ese día para hacer algo de ruido. Para ese entonces vivíamos lejos del lugar donde se llevaría a cabo el toque así que no pudimos llevar nuestros instrumentos musicales puesto que debíamos viajar en transporte público, una vez llegamos al sitio vimos cierta cantidad de personas aglomeradas esperando que el evento comenzara, no era mucha, aparte nosotros fuimos de las primeras bandas en llegar, en total iban a tocar seis bandas.
One of the many gigs we attended was something quite informal, I remember that a few years ago we were invited to play on a court, it was not a "concert" or anything like that, but rather a meeting of several bands that would get together. that day to make some noise. At that time we lived far from the place where the playing would take place so we could not take our musical instruments since we had to travel by public transport, once we got to the site we saw a certain amount of people crowded together waiting for the event to start, it was not much Besides, we were among the first bands to arrive, in total six bands were going to play.
La tarde transcurrió normal, gente hablando, risas y gritos, el ambiente normal para este tipo de eventos, hasta que empezó todo a eso de las seis de la tarde, las bandas y cantantes empezaron a enumerarse para comenzar a tocar, fue un evento muy relajado todo surgió sin mayores complicaciones y la verdad tengo muy gratos recuerdos de ese día, aun conservo algunas fotos que fueron capturadas pasando el rato y probando el sonido, espero que las disfruten.
The afternoon passed normally, people talking, laughing and shouting, the normal atmosphere for this type of event, until everything started around six in the afternoon, the bands and singers began to list themselves to start playing, it was a very event relaxed everything arose without major complications and the truth is I have very fond memories of that day, I still have some photos that were captured hanging out and testing the sound, I hope you enjoy them.
Llegó nuestro turno y ya estábamos listos para comenzar a tocar, tuvimos muy buen recibimiento por parte del pequeño “público” que nos observaba, todos cantaron y disfrutaron al ritmo de nuestra música y eso fue una experiencia muy única y extraordinaria.
Our turn came and we were ready to start playing, we had a very good reception from the small “audience” who watched us, everyone sang and enjoyed the rhythm of our music and that was a very unique and extraordinary experience.
Fue una noche cargada de energía mucha buena vibra y sobretodo mucho rock and roll, quisiera tener mas fotos del evento pero bueno, al menos me quedaron unas cuantas fotografías que sirven para rememorar ese día tan cargado de recuerdos y aquellos tiempos felices donde lo primordial era tocar sin importar que los instrumentos fueran prestados.
It was a night full of energy, a lot of good vibes and especially a lot of rock and roll, I would like to have more photos of the event but hey, at least I had a few photographs left that serve to remember that day so full of memories and those happy times where the main thing was play regardless of the instruments being borrowed.
